To our valued clients and patients, As the flow of information about COVID-19 (coronavirus) comes in, we wanted to let you know that the health and safety of our clients, patients, staff and community is our highest priority. We are committed to keeping our clinic open so that we can continue providing the same high standard of care and service that you’ve come to expect. A safe and healthy environment is the backbone of public health, and to preserve this, we are implementing the following procedures at Spring Valley Veterinary Clinic: - It’s essential that anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath), or anyone who has traveled internationally, or to areas in the US that have a high rate of infection in the last 14 days, call the clinic from our parking lot to announce your arrival. We have a plan in place to ensure that your pet receives the care it needs; this can include having a staff member meet you at your car to bring the pet into the clinic. - If you are bringing your pet in its carrier, please make sure the carrier has been thoroughly cleaned with a 70% (or higher) alcohol solution. Please do the same for collars and leashes. We have hand sanitizer at the reception desk, and we encourage you to use it. - Practicing “social distancing” will also play an important role in preventing the spread of the virus; maintaining a distance of 6 feet from others, and avoiding shaking hands is also recommended. If you are having difficulty coming in to the clinic to pick up your pet’s medications and food, please contact us at (847) 891-3986. We have home delivery options so that your pet’s health and nutritional needs will be met without lapse. Thank you for your understanding and please do not hesitate to call us with any questions. We’re here for you, your pets and the communities in which we live. We will continue to keep you informed as new information becomes available.
As the COVID-19 pandemic situation changes, we wanted to reach out to thank all of our clients for their patience and understanding during this challenging time. We also would like to remind you of our protocols with your pet's appointment in mind.
